Unfortunately, summer is not here yet in Montreal! That is why I need to post this wedding invitation with super bright colours.
I love their choices of colours. As you may know, Haitian wedding won’t be complete without that pop of colour. This time the neon orange is in the list.
I was excited seeing their bouquet, there is actually a neon color flower that matched this invitation.
Well, I guess we can call it a perfect wedding day for these two loving couple.

Summer is here! so is the new invitation which I designed for this special couple for their Dominican Republic wedding this May.
Courtney and Eric wanted an elegant yet represent the ocean blue of their beach wedding. I couldn’t resist of using teal as the color impact.
Honestly, I rarely like teal color on a wedding invitation, but somehow this works for me and they loved it! I am glad we stick with teal envelope, giving the fresh look for the whole set.

When Michelle contacted me and described her wedding theme, it reminded me about our wedding all over again… They had the same colour theme, purple!!!
This one was an easy take, hence our favourite color to work with. Honestly, they had made my life easier not because of the color choices, but when I sent them the initial design, it was love at first sight to them. The design was approved the very second they saw it! I love them and I love my job!

Astrid is my high school friend who lives in the United States, but was getting married in Indonesia, our home land.
It was a special project for me, because I met her fiancé, Ronald, back in Indonesia during our vacation 2 years ago. I adore their chemistry, just like love birds I would say. Astrid mentioned that she loves the bird idea and I just had to apply it carefully from being too cutesy. Okay, I admit, Astrid’s idea on having the female and male birds on the cover, is a cute detail! (look at the bow on the female bird =))
Her bubbly personality matches well with the design. Their theme was inspired by nature while keeping the elegant aspect in check. That is why I put blind embossing of the leaves on the cover to keep it as subtle as possible. Giving a little touch of gold is the best decision to add that elegant and chic look.
These love birds invitations went out to 600 addresses. That’s right, so far this project was the biggest order we had! Indonesian weddings are usually bigger than any other weddings. Having 1000 guests are standard. It is a big deal for both families.
Unfortunately, Richard and I couldn’t make it to their wedding in Jakarta. I can’t wait to see their wedding detail shots on how this nature theme comes to life.
