Japan in Pictures (Part 1)

Wait no more! I present to you the first of two parts of Japan in pictures. These were taken during the first week of the trip.

At first we thought we would escape the cold weather of Montreal for a warmer Tokyo. WRONG! It turned out to be colder and with constant rain. We had to purchase an umbrella. And as the Japanese like to keep things clean, each entrance to a store or hotel has a plastic bag dispenser for your umbrella. Similar to New York City, a lot of walking is involved and it’s no fun when it’s wet and cold.

This awesome looking restaurant is Gonpachi, located in the Roppongi Hills area. The food is also fantastic!

This is the Oedo Onsen Monogatari, a Japanese hot spring, that we tried.

Mount Fuji! And yes! That is the sun!

Aaaah feels just like home… minus the fog.

Want more goodness? Check out the second part of this series.
